Funding and reimbursement for pharmacy services in many countries has declined in real terms to unsustainable levels and unlikely to improve significantly in the short or medium term.

Community pharmacy must adapt to a new model of practice. One which is relevant, indispensable, integrated and sustainable.

It must also meet the increasing needs and expectations of patients through accessible, high quality private clinical services, and advice, support and treatment for self-care.
